Do you have one these in your office? If you do, it’s time to upgrade your equipment!
Printers/Copiers
Are you using the most cost effective printing system for your office? Start doing your research on multi-function devices. These can run you anywhere from $70 for a decent home office workstation,

to several hundred dollars for a networked central hub for offices with multiple users. For larger offices, you may want to go with a network printer as opposed to individual printers.

You get a better piece of equipment about the same cost that you pay for pricey ink cartridges and having to replace those cheaper models all the time.
In this day and age, there is no reason to not have a multi-function device in your office! Some of the advantages include:
Training-With a multi-function device, you only have to learn how to use one device and in most cases, you can complete two or more functions without having to move the document multiple times.
Multi-tasking-You scan it, you save it as a pdf and you email it. Copied, Saved and Sent!
Even if you have gone “Paper-Less”, there will still be things that you will need to print. You should determine the cost per page as related to the cost of your ink and decide if laser or inkjet is a better option.
Are you still holding onto a fax machine?

If you are, stop! It is slow and outdated.
Anything that you previously faxed should be scanned and emailed.
By following the “4 Steps To Going “Paper-Less” method that I laid out, you can learn how to do this.
Do you have a scanner?

It shocks me how many offices are still not scanning! You MUST have a scanner. It allows you to quickly relay your documents electronically and eliminate the need for paper filling systems.
Scanners are available in all shapes and sizes. Do your research and find the best one for your needs.
Telephones & Voice Mail Systems

The choices are landline desktop phones, VOIP, and cellphones.
They all have their advantages and disadvantages.
