Their system works on grades and just one bad review can get you a bad grade!
Everyone knows that word-of-mouth can either make or break a business. This is even truer now that everything that happens ends up online!
A good review can skyrocket your traffic flow but, a bad review can drive it right into the ground if it spreads far enough.
I recently worked with a business that had an ex-employee go on an online rampage and bash them everywhere that he could. This had a significant impact on his business that was visible by the lack of traffic that was coming through his door.
Google, Facebook, Yelp, The Better Business Bureau and City Search are just a few of the places online that your reviews can be found.
If this is happening to you don't despair; I can help!
It's Google's world and we all have to learn how to live properly in it! (online at least, lol)
Your central dashboard for managing your Google profile is your account on Google My Business. Once I make sure everything in that profile is correct, I will do my research to see where you are ranking in the top 10 on the 1st page.
I will do everything possible to get you where you need to be.
I will institute a process to get people to start reviewing you on Google to drive you up in the rankings
I will closely monitor your status (if you choose monthly monitoring)

yelp
Yelp runs on algorithms.
Because of that, you can have 20 glowing reviews on your profile, and then someone posts a bad review and it can bury the good ones!
Once this happens, it will take a long time to remedy the situation.
The best way to avoid this is to have an Online Reputation Manager, like me, that can stop those bad reviews from every appearing online to begin with.
The BBB
Wikipedia describes The Better Business Bureau as a private non-profit organization whose mission is to focus on advancing marketplace trust.
It consists of 106 independently incorporated local businesses coordinated under the Council of Better Business Bureaus.
The BBB prospects successfully vetted businesses to become dues-paying 'accredited businesses' that pledge and continue to adhere to the BBB Code of Business Practices. In return, the BBB allows accredited businesses in good standing to use its trademarked logo in marketing materials.
Contrary to popular belief, lodging a complaint with them does not do much. Business consultant and previous national Manager of Customer Service for Checker Auto Parts Eva Love observed, "Complaining about a business to the Better Business Bureau is like complaining to the mouse's mother after a mouse steals your cheese. It will help if the wind is blowing in your direction.
None the less, people think they are the authority so, you want to have the highest rating on here that you can get.

Citysearch
Citysearch is an online city guide that provides information about businesses. Visitors to each of Citysearch's local city guides will find contact information, maps, driving directions, editorial, and user reviews for the businesses listed.
In August 1998, Citysearch merged with Ticketmaster. In July 1999, Citysearch acquired the competing Sidewalk.com website from Microsoft and merged the two sites together. In December 1999, Ticketmaster-CitySearch received a $40 million investment from USA Networks, Inc.
Think about those companies for a moment and envision how powerful this system is!
Best of CitySearch is a feature that gives locals an opportunity to vote for their favorite businesses in popular categories such as Restaurants, Nightlife, Hotels, and Services. Citysearch opens up its annual polls with nominations from editors. Throughout the voting period visitors to the site cast votes for their favorite local business. After the polls close, the top ten businesses in each category are revealed to their cities.
